The fact that some are is no reason to put up with those that are not or with unnaceptable practices. We do not have a duty to foreign nationals.

Your economy is probably nearer the truth. Do cleaners and gardeners earn enough to pay for their full share of services from our state, health care, the education of their kids, their future pensions? I very much doubt it. This is the reality of most unskilled immigration, it suits businessmen who can get cheap labour and well heeled socialist hypocrites who can afford to live in posh areas away from it all. Normal people suffer the problems and pick up the bill.

I had a similar experience with a couple of british lads who did some work for me over the weekend. Mrs PL managed to prang the side of her car a week or so ago. These two lads turned up 9am Sat morning and masked the entire part of the garage in white plastic, brought all the required equipment including heaters, lighting, extractors, compressor, panel beating tools, buffer etc.

Mrs' car looks fantastic and they noticed a scratch on my bumper which they did gratis. In all it took them until 8pm Sunday eve. All it cost me was a couple of hundred quid, a box of tea bags and a few packs of foxs creams.

Anyone who thinks all british are a bunch of feckless layabouts isn't looking properly.

Mind you this could be because there are no East Europeans living near my part of eden.

Why do you assume that the second generation will be like the first?
          It depends on the culture.
2nd and 3rd generation immigrants from hard working cultures usually become higher rate taxpayers.
The work ethic I see in these Poles will almost certainly be passed on to their kids.
Plus we owe the Poles for their sterling work in WW2 and for selling them down the pan in '45.
Apart from a certain tendency to alcoholism, I've liked almost all the Poles I've ever met - a fine bunch.
          Hard Brexit now!

We refurbished the house quickly, with top notch quality and paid a pittance to a team of Polish workers who worked solidly from 8am-8pm and hence did it in half the time.
If I was not satisfied with any part of the work, they simply redid it, with a better Pole.

Quite. The owner was a total idiot but the British blokes who just did our conservatory were skilled and really worked hard. People love to trot out this lazy Brit stuff, usually the same people who would call it racism if anyone made such a blanket unqualified comment about any other group. Maybe they should try looking at the figures from the Office for National Statistics, just who are the major groups most likely to be on benefits or on long term sickness.

In any case, the thread was about a car insurance dodge that, even if legal, is likely to prove a major nightmare for anyone involved in an accident. Not excusable no matter how many brilliant nannies/car washers etc there are.

Remember, anyone who earns less than six figures is a loser.
