100,000 Eastern European migrants now free to claim full benefits in Britain

Have we done Eastern Europeans to be able to come over here and almost immediately claim benefits?

Good that they will be able to claim UK Child Benefit for kids living back home in Elbonia.

    Bloody Tories!

No. Have we done '60 million Britons allowed to come over to the continent and claim child benefit'?

        Your politics confuse me.
You seem to be a leftist protectionist, rather like a national socialist.
        Hard Brexit now!

If you live in a British city there will probably be 100,000 UK citizens claiming within 10 miles of you. Let us address the real problem that we cannot get these munchkins out to work and have to import labour.

Nothing to do with the "Bloody Tories" or "Bloody Labour" it's called being part of the EU and agreements that come with freedom of movement.

If you take up a job in say France, Ireland (ha ha ) or Poland then they will pay child benefit (or the equivalent) to your children regardless of whether they are in the UK or not.

Then when you lose your job they are obliged (if you qualify) to pay your unemployment benefit. You are then allowed to transfer this requirement to the UK. Though you may be better of just claiming from the UK straight depending on who pays more.

As is now, Polish can claim child benifit in the UK for their children living in Poland.

Successful economies become that having a supply of cheap labour, china has its segregated economic rural divisions, the USA has Mexico. "no questions asked if you just keep working".

We got dragged into some nonsense egalitarian drivel the French were mouthing off about and the EU now has no cheap labour. Heat death of the EU.

There's always been a protectionist streak in the Trade Union / Labour movement. There was a docker's strike in protest at Enoch Powell's sacking following the Rivers of Blood streak.

                    National Socialist is rather strong.
