    Wrong kind of ash.

    Wrong direction of wind.

Hopefully both will stay the same or I'm f***ed.

IMO there is a REAL risk that UK airspace will have to shut down.

Upper air winds will carry ash directly from Iceland to the UK and France Tues/Weds/Turs.

shame because I have a flight booked toDenver from london on Friday.

There's also a proper gale forecast unless that changed, winds up to 70 or even 80mph.

With any luck this will mean I am stuck here in two weeks time and get to drink more quality beer.

Wouldn't it be funny if UK airspace, like last time, is closed for a week - particularly with Obama here!

What could we get him to do in his week off?
