IMO there is a REAL risk that UK airspace will have to shut down.

Upper air winds will carry ash directly from Iceland to the UK and France Tues/Weds/Turs.

shame because I have a flight booked toDenver from london on Friday.

There's also a proper gale forecast unless that changed, winds up to 70 or even 80mph.
