Get out of Public Sector and into the Financial Sector

A new survey has show that Financial Services is the new boom area for IT Contractors and the Public Sector is a no-no due to Government cutbacks.

Hope you are all in the right sector - for those that are working.

From the amount of time you spend here one would guess that it wouldn't matter which sector was doing well or badly - none of them wants to hire dear old Shaunbhoy.

Why won't you get out of CUK and join mumsnet.com?

Had you turned up in June 2010 this might have been breaking news.

            As you didn't this isn't.

Surely that must be just where you work.

Figures recently published showed Public sector IT contract ads down by 50% in the past year - although they do appear to have bottomed out.

Not just in IT but contracting in general in Canary Wharf is booming! Rates good, better environment and much more secure.
