Not an exact copy of the comic its been cleaned up a bit. Less Misogyny and BS, more conspiracy. I actually like Billy Butcher in the series.

How many episodes of season 1 does the movie cover before the TV show goes beyond that?

I got distracted reliving my youth after finding Soldier Soldier on UKTV Play, watching as the ex-squaddies who now through the fog of time fondly reminisce about when they served while at the time they bitched like crazy how they wanted to buy themselves out.

On Amazon? Saw the new season advertised but only a trailer available when I looked the other day.

If available 'elsewhere' I've given up with my android box for streaming USA sources as the apps are so flaky I can't be arsed trying to keep them working or finding another when one is taken down. There's also the 'news' that police in UK are increasingly interested in 'doing' those caught streaming (not just torrenting or sharing as of old where ISP sent a warning letter) as it is illegal in terms of copyright theft to watch streams in the UK, apparently. Getting to be too much aggro (which is what they want) when most of the TV/movies coming out are absolute tulip.
