Default Is Bank of England irrelevant now?

Nobody even posts about important rate decision taken today - looks like they've done themselves out of the job!

They always have been irrelevant. What's amazing is that anyone ever paid any attention to them in the first place.

Shall we just use one of the other 33 threads that have said the rates have stayed the same for yet another month
“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.”

    BOE MPC

    Q) Ok.
Low interest rates damage the economy in the long run.
