Managed to fill up the fuel tank at lunch time. Went to total garage close by but was queing all the way onto the main road to Manchester Airport. I thought sod that so drove to the BP in terminal 1 and paid 1.47 per litre for diesel! £75 to fill up my Golf TDI WTF?! Anyway glad I managed to fill up my tank for the next month or soComment

The giovernment really haven't thought this through. They tell everybody to fill up, and even to stockpile fuel. All the petrol stations run dry and have to be replenished. This means the tanker drivers make loads of money from working overtime, and can therefore afford to strike for a good long timeComment
