    The missus wants new windows.

    We have 10 , differnets sizes, plus a door that need doing.

    Anyone offer any sensible advice ? and how much am I looking at?

    depends on the sizes can you list them in mm here and we can get a few quotes for you?

    serious: a door is anything between £150 and £500 depending on the design i reckon between £2500 and £3500 assuming none are bay windows

    I would suggest a door would be 500-800.
    Can you re-use the frames and just replace the sealed units ? That would be the cheaper solution and can be as little as 150 per unit.

    I've just ordered a couple to replace existing in our kitchen. Going down the DIY route at first. If i can do it, winner! If not, i've only wasted <£400 (exc. delivery) and will get the pros in

    You need to read up on the building regs if doing yourself, and get a building inspector to check it all. Not everyone's cup of tea.

    I replaced 5 windows and a door with a local firm for around 1.5K. I reckon yours would be about 2 to 2.5K depending on if there are any reliable and honest window fitters near where you live.
