    Stun guns

Teenager held with two suspected 1.2million volt stun guns disguised as mobile phones | Mail Online

According to the Daily Mail, stun guns are becoming quite popular.

Most of the current will flow between its electrodes and the flesh in between, but some current will pass through the more resistive human to earth and also back to the electrodes. Using suitable assumptions on electrical resistance of the human body and current employed, what is this voltage likely to be and do to the rest of the body? What kind of currents will be passing through the heart if an arm is stunned?

Loads of cheap ones with higher voltages being sold on Amazon.com, flashlight included so that you can see who you are stunning. Most of the comments for the cheap ones suggest the shock from them is pretty benign. Presumably the more expensive and higher amperage ones induce more animated symptoms.

Someone on here said they had one, can't quite remember who.

He is grounded now and therefore shock proof.
