    Exemplary performances in the sitting down events as usual!

          I'm enjoying watching everyone get excited now that we are in the events we can compete in.

          Some of the bods in my office are pretending they are right into olympics and making funny statements like, wow its the best they've ever done - where do we usually finish? etc.

          Hopefully we'll maintain 4th or better it (unlikely tho) this time around

            Victoria Pendleton & Jessica Varnish disqualified from the women's team sprint final*

            As second fastest qualifiers, they were to race against the Chinese for the gold medal. Their transgression related to the location where the second rider in the two-woman-team overtakes the first.

            * Not officially confirmed yet

                  The Chinese have just been relegated for the same thing in the final.

                    Not sure what the solution is, but it's a shame that we don't get to see some cycle racing because of it. So the Germans won because they were better at following orders.
