United states attack on London finance industry?

Three British banks have been targeted by US regulators in a month. Isn

Is this a concerted effort to try to take the global finance industry back?

Or are London based banks able to mess things up without assistance?

Probably. They have been doing it every now and again for years.

Remember Lloyds of London going bust? I didn't realise it at the time, but they had severely p*ssed off the Yanks several years before.
Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.

The organisation doing the attacking was only formed a year ago, has only really become "operational" in the last 3 months or so.

What they fail to add, is that nearly all the ruddy banks (in the USA) are doing the same thing and have been for years.

Yet another scandal, though no one truely believed that banks weren't making money in "enemy "countries anyway, did they?

A bunch of crooks thought they were too clever to get caught, but they were wrong.

Happens all the time. No need for conspiracy theories. Just more examples of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

They can have it, time to change tack.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I doubt that this is happening. If it is then it's what we are supposed to believe. A mere smokescreen, a mirage.

Remember, the global finance industry is all under the control of the same group of lizards.

This is a concerted smoke screen by the US. Just take a look for another US bank or ten up to no good in the background... S & C have still been flipping silly and will be lucky to avoid jail time but then there is something else going on further away from them...
