The cost will vary depending on the existing structure & what detailing will be needed to install the new components & what form of access they need; a cherry picker costs a lot more than an alloy tower

One thing to consider if you did not have eaves venting before but are now (in line with current building regulations) you will get less condensation building up in the loft space but it is likely to be cooler – do you have suitable loft insulation to compensate & don’t forget to make sure the hatch is insulated as well.

Also – do you actually need to have the soffits / fascia’s replaced or have you brought in to the sales hype?

Bought my own scaffold (and already owned a decent belt sander) and me and a mate repainted the original wooden ones. They been up for 30 years and regularly painted. I decided the ends of the eves needed replacing but that was it. Scaffold tower = £300 and bribing my mate 3x BBQ. Spent around £100 on bits and pieces (including 10 year exterior paint) and it all looks a treat now. Unlike the house one side that had plastic put up 5 years ago which all needs redoing, or the house over the back which was done in plastic 3 years ago and now looks totally tulip with a family of sparrows using it as a nest site for the last couple of years, so guess they had it done on the cheap. Make no mistake in 10 years you'll be replacing the whole lot. Repair the originals and except for a little bi-annual tlc they last 100's years.

We got ours done the same time as our neighbor - so got a good deal of £1400 each.
We are very happy with the work and it was a local specialist firm.
I had been quoted 5K in the past!
