Aware of it. It wasn't that as such that got my goat but
If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.

And while all this constant slurring of UKIP or any of us who simply want a familiar society of our own, as do people throughout the world, is just as likely to be from detached idealists like darmstadt or kent phillip (I think ?) they should have a right to say it.

I do not accept that citizens of other nations imposed us on us by the EU should have that same right. It is not just about immigration but all issues. Consider how so many acting mostly in their own interests affect our future - most migrants vote for the Labour party.

I was the original and the reason I posted it was due to the fact that the press latch onto UKIP gaffes and to show that other political parties are not much different. The press need to be unbiased (shurely shome mishtake?) and report the ****-ups other parties do as well, otherwise the playing field is not fair...But then again, UKIP are fair game being the new kid on the block
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

UKIP do it again as well: Ukip backs councillor candidate who labelled gay people 'abnormal' and 'sodomites' - UK - News - The Independent

If they had any sense and want to win, then they would keep schtum and only talk party policy before the election and then say what they want after being elected

Quite agree but then you go and post yet another slanted thing about UKIP. Ah yes:

Headline - UKIP backs councillor candidate, nicely implying the whole party is anti-gay.

Reality - a local branch chairman has (perhaps rightly) said the words were misquoted and defended the councillor's right to express an opinion. All in favour of gay rights personally but we cannot have a democracy if people cannot express opinions and that is something Peter Tatchell agrees with:

Peter Tatchell: Christian homophobes should not be criminalised

If they reported the sayings of every councillor or minor official of other parties would they be any different? People of all parties have a wide spectrum of opinions, some sensible, some not, but it is not relevant.

Unless you have some reason to suspect a hidden agenda it should only be stated policies, majority views that may determine the future direction of a party and the opinions of those likely to wield power that should matter.

Why do you, kentphillip (I think, may be mixing him up with somebody else) and mos keep boring us all with this stuff? mos is a total idiot, kp is a one liner so no idea but you always strike me as too sensible to keep doing it.

PS I think hyperD has the right idea.

Anyone responding to any more of these things from the usual trio should just post "Vote UKIP", even if they don't support them. Anything else is a waste of time.
