I think most users will read what they want to believe anyway. You see that when users post about schemes here and seem disapointed when the answer isn't "sure, it's great, go right ahead".

I would have thought retail sales of such schemes gone down by at least 80%, most likely 90%.

        I'm not sure. I don't suppose we'll ever know

I've got a better idea "feed em to the pigs Harold, but take their teeth out first as it upsets the Piggys digestion"

They are utter scum, this goes beyond just doing their job.

Not even any requirement to fill in self assessment return as far as I can see. Must be less than 1% chance of ever being questioned.
Depends if you are an MP or not.

True. But it should have gone down 100%.

I suspect it might start going up again with the latest onslaught on contracting (divi tax, T&S, IR35 mk2).

It already has. Even one of the most respected O&G jobs sites is spamming daily with "hassle free umbrella company returns up to 90%".

Yep think you're absolutely right DR

So, what happens now?? Will anyone who's paid up be getting a refund from HMRC?? Is the Montpelier case over now or will it continue through the courts?
