    Default Montpelier screwed everything up

Is it true that the reason everyone received follower notices is because Montpelier didn't appeal on time?

    How friggin incompetent is that.

    Yes it is true.

However it made no difference anyway. Once the law was changed in 2008 all WG could do was delay.

There are rumours WG will launch a JR. Anyone who does not settle now will get a 50% penalty. If you have the money, pay up. HMRC will look at time to pay of several years - rumours abound of 5 years. If you cannot pay, get an insolvency practioner.

So people let him 10% back on their loan scheme. That money is funding the current legal actions. That money will never be seen again.

To be fair to WG, no-one could have forseen the retrospective legislation.

WG reads these forums. Perhaps he would like to login and comment?

Do you know for sure that they are using that money?
