Would anyone like to help raise awareness of the Loan Charge 2019 Petition?

Started the petition a few weeks back. Currently at 1250. With 60,000 plus affected contractors we should be able to at least hit the 10,000 mark which signals a reply from Parliament.

If anyone would like to assist/has any ideas on how best to raise awareness of the petition let me know in the comments or private message me direct

    https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/218582

    Thanks

Raja, it's been posted several times in several groups. That makes it lose impact and it also means that you end up bumping old discussions when other posters are trying to get help with their questions.

Your intentions may be good, but basically you're spamming the forum.

Just to clarify: in the last 27 days there have been 30 posts in various threads about the petition (at least that's how many I've found so far).

        Here's the original one...
        https://forums.contractoruk.com/acco...pectively.html
which was a new thread after the OP created this one:

The Big Group could also assist in raising awareness of the Petition surely? Since only one can be created on the topic they might as well get behind it

How does reposting lose impact? Interested to hear how that occurs. Reposting raises awareness more than anything

I’m not interested in losing impact, I’m interested in not spamming the forum.

You have a thread and you’ve put the message out.

There are other lines of attack. Like contacting local MP on the EDM. Or using GDPR https://forums.contractoruk.com/hmrc...ries-gdpr.html .

I was watching Life of Brian the other day. I soon expect the see a sub-group called the ActionGroupAgainstLoanCharges, Don't follow the gourd - contact your MP.

The loan charge is just one scheme enquiry as cojak has repeatedly pointed out (not that anyone listens). And scheme enquiries are just part of an anti-HMRC fight which includes the future of contracting.

                Anyway - release Woderwick....
