Can people start signing this please
Its now at 3081 signatures - surely being proactive has got to count for something?

Only 3000-ish signatures at the moment, not sure why more are not signing??

      Hazard a guess:

      - a bit ashamed, don't want to have to explain one's private predicament to others and be tagged as 'tax avoiders'.

      - left contracting and or work behind years ago and therefore still oblivious of the s*it storm looming.

      - still believe their tax affairs were settled fully with CLSO1.

      - like Brexit, disbelief that the Loan Charge will happen.

      - too defeated and apathetic to sign.

      - risk averse (that would be most of us).

      - have actually done rather well, and calculate they can afford to concede some back-tax (the minority amongst us).

      - have done even better than "rather well" and are not even being chased for tax (lurkers lying low who haven't received a little brown epistle, or a scheme provider, or end client who benefited from scheme users but has no interest in supporting them now - as long as the lens of MPs/public opinion doesn't swing their way...)

      Have I left anyone out?

Ah, wait a sec. Righteous and moralistic contractors who only used limited company set-up and in hindsight are crowing that they always said loan schemes were dodgy. You will be next with IR35 retrospection to say you've been disguised employees all along. Think they won't try it on? Just look at what's been coming out under FOI about the CEST tool lately.

        Only 52 days remaining...

This is going to take some doing to get to 10k to prompt a response but if you've not signed now’s the time.

Anything we can do to gain more exposure on this issue will go along away.

If you’ve already signed, why not tweet a reminder for others to do the same!

There must be thousands out there, affected and not signed.
I and at least 10 of my friends and family have.

I do understand that non nationals and non dom's cannot sign.

          This is wrong.
          This is Tax without representation.
