    Well, well, well.

Probably too late for companies who have already issued blanket bans but does push it down the road and a whole new set of priorities are likely to appear.

Unfortunately come Christmas time we would all be delighted with inside roles.

At least the delay gives businesses the opportunity to keep their contractors and maintain current projects. Whether they do so or not...well we should find out over the coming days.
The risk HMRC using recent inside determinations for retrospective taxation are quite small, probably no more than it was before so this is excellent news overall and will give more time for everyone to align ready for next year.
The work involved for HMRC to gather all the determinations and investigate is too great. Certainly not possible with automation, so highly unlikely to be executed.
Use this time wisely as 85% of you have been abusing the IR35 regulations!

They already have loads of info on people who switched to inside/brolly/paye or who were simply classed as inside and left, so plenty of data to rely on for retro investigations either way.

They only did it in case we all switch to PAYE and try to claim sick pay during the Pandemic. Money grabbing barstewards!
Politicians are wonderfull people, as long as they stay away from things they don't understand, like working for a living!

So, is the 5% 'administration allowance' going to be allowed for another year too?

The statement below won't make a difference to the fact he will take all the credit.

“This is a deferral in response to the ongoing spread of COVID-19 to help businesses and individuals.
                Pretty poor IMO.

                  My master-plan has worked.

I am the one who created the Coronavirus in a lab in Wuhan in order to rollback IR-35, I hope you are all grateful.

Onward and upward, oh and I just boomed with a 10% uplift.

The way the economy is going at the moment there will be mass culls of contractors soon anyway!
Contractors? More like everyone. The way this is being handled will destroy our economy and usher in a depression worse than any seen before.
