    Contractors in the below constituencies please write to your MPs

    Hi Colleagues;

    I have made a draft study and came out with below constituencies where we know MPs from those constituencies didn't vote for 2017 bill and their i35 stance still not clear by the looks of their social media activities. I thought by reaching out to you contractor colleagues living in these constituencies we will have a more targeted strategy to reach out to more MPs and have our voices be heard.

    We have not much time remaining until 25th of June; that is when the reporting stage for Finance Bill starts as we already now from campaign letters. Contractors in the below constituencies can you please write to your MPs. with latest campaign letter template?

    And thank you very much if you take the effort; can you please continue this thread by saying +1 and your constituency name so that I would like to also measure the social media impact and share it every 3 days if that helped us gaining support from more MPs or not. So please take action.

    Since we have not much time left I will respond to only replies as requested above.

    Here is the list;

    Thanks!

      Contractors in the below constituencies please write to your MPs

      Did you hear of the ipse campaign to get 1000’s if it’s membership to do the same ?

      Which group are you ?

        This list contains only 262 constituencies where we can get extra support. Basically this list excludes MPs already anti-ir35 and also excludes MPs who supported 2017 finance bill. I do not pertain any contractor group although I support couple of them by joining the campaign and doing yearly contributions/. This is my simple study on available data by some shell scripts. I am only worried to get more MPs support that is all.

        For this reason I created this targeted list. I hope I can reach out to fellow contractors who IPSE and ContractorCalculator already calling out to write to their MPs. Just trying to make sure to get more MPs support; and I beleive the above listed constituencies matters most. You can check for yourselves by picking your constituency from the list(if it exists) and checking if your MPs stance is clear about IR35 to verify my study. My claim is that this list won't give you MPs that support or not-support IR35 reforms. It will point you to MPs whose IR35 reform stance is unclear. Hope I explained myself. Thanks

          This train has left the station

          If there are no changes in the committee stage then there will be no report stage.

            This assumes the addressee is going to care about those letters. Yes it is worth trying, but that seems to be a quite ineffective way to get things moving.

            Should contractors act like actual lobbyists? What I mean by that is to create some sort of a foundation that will be donating money to the party, setup conferences in Caribbean and invite MPs, pay for dinners and help solve problems MPs may be facing?
            Isn't it how those big companies got their way with IR35?

            (this post is a satire)

              Broxtowe MP is a new BJ Fanboi.

              He won't do anything against his boss.

                I've got Michael Gove - he's a self-serving TWUNT. Never mind the fact that his teenage daughter has made a right name for herself...Surrey Heath would be a waste of your time.

                I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

                    Well good spot and that is why Surrey Heath is not on the above shared list. Because Gove supported 2017 finance bill.
