Here we go again. Clientco decided they will not engage with contractors via a ltd in a recent HR Policy change. Company in question is one of the larger energy businesses.
I'll have been there 9 months in Jan, when my current contract comes to an end. I am clearly outside; onboarded during the pandemic, using BYOD devices and essentially set my own hours. They've asked what my thoughts are and I've said there's no way I'm going inside especially without additional remuneration. I gather finding work is fairly tough at the moment and that the market is a little dry, so I guess the question is walk the plank, or stay and hope Mr Taxman doesn't knock in a few years time? Anyone in a similar situation?
