Bloody cold this morning. Had to let the car defrost before heading for Client Co.

Greyish heading towards blue.

Last day before the Xmas furlough.

Celebrated with a cooked breakfast from the canteen.

Just got to avoid agreeing to do anything between now and 4:00pm and I'm free for two weeks, although I do have stuff to do for Client#2 and a conf call with a potential Client#3 next week. UK arm of a Septic outfit, which could be interesting.

Flight delayed almost an hour last night due to taxiway repairs at Heathrow.

Home now, clear skies, heavy frost.

I'm not yet on the incident reporting mailing list but sounds like emergency works as they don't often do runway work while the airport is open.

From memory it was the Northern side, and they had reduced the frequency from 58 to 35 flights per hour. It was a turn off from the runway about 2/3 of the way along, i.e. where all the smaller aircraft would pull off, meaning that they had to land and trundle to the end.
