They wouldn't even accept a printed copy by post; for some reason nobody there could explain to me, it absolutely had to be faxed
I'd probably have told them to fax off
these guys asked for two years of bank statements for some reason.
I did tell them then, but they decided they'd waive it.

Stressful morning on the project, but not many hours now until I go on holiday

        Splendid!

The holiday bit, not the stress

Suppose I'd better get the shopping done

            And so I did

Various things that have been previously forgotten were remembered

I daresay there'll be other things that were forgotten, though

And the hot food counter had some southern-not-fried chicken thighs left, so that's (late) lunch sorted out

              T6 home, jiggety jig.

Much faster & more comfortable than the X7/X8.

Further supplies of battered haddock purchased from M&S on the way home, along with some beef (Morrisons, reduced).

The fish is currently frying and will be consumed shortly, once the poppety ping has pinged.

This evening's epic shall in all probability be Goodbye Christopher Robin, for no particular reason other than my buying it in Morrisons at the same time as the beef.

              I hope it's a bit better than Oceans 8.

It's got a 7 so there is some hope.

Feeling a bit weird at the moment.

And, as I typed that, PING

And very nice it was too.

Sadly no further supplies of individual Xmas puds were available.

Fish here too, for I succumbed to the primal Friday night urge to go to the chippy. Very nice bit of haddock and excellent chips

We had "dad's pasta" even though the house, for once, was devoid of children.

It was rather good & much better than Oceans 8.

                    For which relief, much thanks.

But then I'm a sentimental old sod.

Morning all is it too early to head to the lounge and start a ski trip?
