Enough of the hair report. How is the weather?

Windy and cold here & following a light lunch of a Ginster's Cornish Pasty (Morrisons, reduced) with beans on toast, the afternoon shows some promise of being even more windy.

The pasty was surprisingly nice.

The toast was brown with sunflower seeds.

The beans were Heinz full fat.

And the pollen is making my eyes itch despite the antihistamine.

As I went on holiday last week, and because I have just gone contract to permie, I bought cakes into the office.

One is courgette cake. One is wartime cake - entirely vegan, it uses tea instead of eggs.

Both are delicious.

I was in (Greek)Cyprus seeing a friend.

I wanted to go to Northern Cyprus. So I hired a car.

I drove slowly through the border expecting a barrier. There was a couple of huts.

Suddenly I was shouted at and had to reverse. I had driven straight through the border.....
