Going for a haircut this afternoon, so I suppose I might as well do the shopping while I'm out and about

I think I may leave the office for the day. Having had a two hour meeting I do not feel inclined to produce any more work today

Today we have resurrected from the grave a 286 which originally had £155 of ST251-1 which is now resolutely refusing to spin up.

An equally recalcitrant ST125 however, has spun up and has booted into DOS.

                  Ver 6.20.

                  Well there's a thing.

Despite this MFM drive being formatted on a completely different MFM controller card.

They usually weren't transferable in that way.

This drive's got stiction so there's not much point in doing much more since it'll have to be taken out & tapped to get it going again tomorrow.

Now running scandisk, that should screw it.
                  When the fun stops, STOP.
