And why not? Life is just pain and misery.

Another night of not dying in my sleep.

I have even started cycling past WTFH's place every day. He is a worse shot than he is singer.

What might be a coconut fibre.

    More mud.

Something that might be a French military cap badge.

    More mud.

The pilings to make the cove coffer dam are ongoing.

    More mud.

    Possible tunnel.

Some old lady called Xena or Zena popped her clogs at 88 and left a lifetime's research into the Knights Templar to the nutjobs.

All in all, a lot of mud.

And the crossbow bolt is now thought (by yet another nutjob) to be part of a roman spear tip.

What did the romans ever do for us?

    Next week: more mud.

Tea this evening was more of yesterday's roast beef.

    It was nice enough.

Accompanied by The Battle of the Somme outside.

"They" ban jacky jumpers and bangers, so instead we get Chinese fireworks with yields in the kiloton range.

Quite spoiled my enjoyment of my 1.05 pints of Good Glengettie Tea.

I hope the cats are bearing up under the strain.
Please keep us updated - especially on Oak Island.

At my age, I dream of finding wood.....

I have now given 36000 thanks and likes.

On the way up to Wales last Friday I hoped to finish on 163000 miles. Sadly I finished on 163001. Maybe I should have parked a mile from home?

It's been like that for centuries.

"They" don't give a tulip about the PBI or any of "their" underlings.

    No change there then.

    Morning all

Grey/white sky with patches of blue.

    No visible sunshine.

    Dry.

Doesn't stink of burning tyres this morning.

Tomorrow morning may well be different.

    Cool.

    16 deg in here.

Feel a little less odd this morning.

Wasn't "little less odd" the codename for the lustee?

    Morning denizens

Grey, damp day out there. I suppose we should be grateful for 10°C - at least it’s in double digits (in base 10)

    Morning all

Murky out, but it's lifting. Also pretty chilly.
