      Sounds like it's rained overnight or still raining.
      It’s the North West. It’s like that

          Stone me that went down fast.

          Shirts out of the TD, two that needed a bit of ironing duly ironed.

          Now awaiting the end of the cottons pass in the WM.

          The excitement of my life knows very bounds.

          <lunch hiatus>

          Lunch today was scrambled egg (leathery version) with poached tomato on Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed toast.

          When rounded off with 1.05 pints of Good Glengettie Tea, it was very nice.

            Yes currently Manchester is doing a very good impression of what everyone thinks Manchester will be like.

            e.g. it's cold, wet and windy.

              I was born about twenty miles away, so it’s no mere conjecture on my part

                Lunch has been Scotch broth, which has benefited greatly from a night in the fridge; very thick, and full of flavour

                Accompanied by thick chunks of both wholemeal and sesame bloomer. I think the wholemeal goes better with such a thick, vegetabley soup

                      Much the same as London was when I left yesterday afternoon
