    Contemplating lighting the Rayburn.

Failing that, I might light the fire.

In other news, we have a sick chicken.

Fire's been on here since I got up. Nice and toasty now

I've finally managed to make room for the zingy soup in the freezer. I freeze the soups in square containers (originally they contained M&S cocktail sausages, chicken bites, or mini sausage rolls, which I used to get for lunch from the petrol station in Cambridgeshire) and as the ham soup was highly concentrated, each portion only filled about third of its container. So I've extracted the individual bricks, wrapped each separately, and stuffed them in a couple of freezer bags. Thus they take up much less room, and that means there's enough space to get the zingy soups in

Once they've frozen I'll do the same with them, which will free up bit more space for certain casseroles I have scheduled this week

The duvet was washed and draped. The bed sheet and pillow cases are approaching their final spin.

only if you smother it in sugar, like the septics do.

Exactly. Eggy bread should not be tampered with.
