    Entertainment here was predicated on the notion of silly nonsense, as for some reason that's all I really felt in the mood for tonight; and nothing is sillier than The Fast and the Furious (2001) and 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), so I rewatched them

    Though to be fair, their internal stories are fairly consistent for the most part, so maybe the nonsensical bit doesn't apply

    And then a bit more of The Sopranos, to wit, S5E5 Irregular Around the Margins (TV Episode 2004) and S5E6 Sentimental Education (TV Episode 2004). These episodes are a bit more focused on interpersonal stuff rather than sweeping arcs but, as Paulie Walnuts would say, what you gonna do?

    Goodnight all

      Bonjour

      Open Country was interesting this morning. Redesdale was the subject, for you Yorkshyte'ers.
      I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

          Morning all

          Clear blue sky, dry. Currently 6 degrees, high of 7 forecast. Chance of rain overnight. Barometer up to 980 mBar.

          First coffee being drunk while waiting for my Ocado delivery (due in the 10 - 11 am hour).

          Once that's dealt with, I have to go to the post office and drop a parcel off. I'm glad I rejoined the post survey recently as within the stamps they've sent as 'payment' were their Christmas stamps that I've used for all my cards

                Morning.

                Grey.

                Wet.

                Cold at 13.4 deg in here.

                Sunny/not sunny as the fancy takes it.

                Saturday.

                Had a nice touch of rigor last night to add to the joy of life.

                Thank feck for electric blankets.

                <hiatus>

                Lunch: Leek and potato soup with Morrisons wholemeal sunflower & spelt bread, bramble jelly sandwich on crust of same, red pippy corner yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

                I may venture out for a walk after lunch.

                <hiatus>

                Walk walked, rain free and wanly sunny.

                Busy today, no doubt with people venturing up there to purchase Xmas trees.

                <hiatus>

                Tea: spag bol last but one portion of the fiery batch, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

                <hiatus>

                Entertainment: "Casino Royale (1967)" with Peter Sellers and David Niven, plus Woody Allen, Ursula Andress.

                Britain's most historic towns: Glasgow.

                Britain's Wildest Weather: Aberdulais just starred.

                "Casino Royale " turned out to reasonably amusing for the first hour or so, but the ending was poor beyond belief.

                  Ocado have delivered and so has Amazon (I spotted Nordes gin on offer at sub-£30 so I snaffled a bottle).

                  Now to hot foot it up to the post office before last acceptance time.

                      Walk up to the high street done. Used the self service tills even though there was no queue in the Post Office.

                      Beautiful day out. I may have to go for a proper walk later.
