There's a BTL up the road.

One day there was the box from a 50" tv put out for the bin men.

About 3 months later they got evicted.

The tenants, rather than the bin men*.

*There may well be bin ladies as well but I've not seen any yet.

In other news I remembered that I'd bought some eccles cakes from Morrisons (reduced).

So I partook of one and very nice it was too.

Half a bottle of port helped the evening out too.

Though not as much as finding the car keys did.

      I've seen some round here

Tonight's human drama was Addiction: A 60's Love Story (2015), based on the true story of a chap called Max Bornstein who managed to cope with heroin addiction quite well compared to some while holding down a job as a driver for a distributor of illegal porn. Nothing earth-shattering, though there are some hallucinatory sequences while he's nodding out at various points that have a cool 60s vibe and, as time goes on, some moderately horrific special effects.

      Goodnight all

            Morning denizens

Sort of sunny out, but apparently we'll probably have showers later

And not very warm at 8°C, which is also as hot as it'll get

                      That's the plan!

Lunch has been a bowl of Scotch broth out of the freezer, with a couple of thick crusts of wholemeal bread
