A friend turned up at my door just before 5. Suggested we went to my local for a beer. It would have been rude of me to refuse. He was then walking to another local to meet his wife, it’s about 40 mins away. I needed to walk Millie, so I set off with him, intending to turn back, honestly.
The Wife (tm) picked me up at the pub an hour later.
