Tonight's movie mayhem was courtesy of Backtrace (2018) which wasn't that bad, actually. The plot isn't excessively preposterous (though it is fairly so) and the pacing is OK. There's some serious overacting in parts, which is a bit distracting. And the ending seemed a little unlikely, but then again, the entire premise is more than a little unlikely. Basically, it's hokum and has a few decent gunfights, so if you're in the mood for something along those lines, it helps pass ninety minutes

      Goodnight all

Oh, that one. I've got it somewhere, buried in the pile.

        Morning.

        Dry.

        Polleny.

Bit breezy to make the polleny worse.

        Wanly sunny.

        Warmish side of coolish.

High overcast filtering the rays a bit.

        No CBS.

        Barometer rising.

The library is closed for the Bank Holiday, so no mingling with the hoi polloi doleys today.

Wasn't it triple time for a BH back in the day?

Ours won't be working today or Monday.

          Manchester 1966? Judas!

(Now gone back to check I got the date right, and it appears that the man in question was Keith Butler, who died in October 2002)

Morning all clear blue skies and sunshine here, the walk earlier was in a T-shirt, no need for long sleeves or a coat.

            TFIF, etc

                Morning denizens

Another pleasant, sunny day, and a balmy 16°C out there too

Might jinx the weather by putting the ⅓ duvet away again at this rate

                  That's the one

Not the only heckle on an eventful tour, but the one everybody remembers mainly because, for many years, that was the most widely-circulated bootleg from the tour. And it's a pretty good one as heckles go, too; pithy

                    Unreasonably pleasant & warm out.

No good shall come of this.

Pollen bomb seems to have exploded.

                    <wheeze> <sneeze> <eyes itch> <cough>

Kill me now it would be a kindness.

I'll be on two (different) one a day antihistamines at this rate.
