Not sure if we all saw Boy, 13, dies after Great Orme Llandudno sea rescue - BBC News

Baby BP was playing with the child earlier in the day. They were part of a group hanging round a park. Luckily baby BP takes after his father and is a total coward.

That is pretty sad - but those seas around there can be nasty.

      also

''It's an incredibly sad touch to what is one our biggest weekends in the town with hundreds of thousands of visitors''

      Really hundreds of thousands?

      was it really that busy?

LLandudno has 20,000 residents and about 50,000 hotel rooms. There could well have been another 100,000-200,000 there. Traffic jams have been known to extend to Queensferry(yes really!).

We live on edge of town. But have to park up Thursday night and not move car again until Monday night. Mrs-BP's sister runs the biggest hotel in Llandudno and has to walk to work(the previous manager refusing to leave!).

The Victorian Extravaganza is a huge event. The town works very hard for the visitors. The funfair is over-priced.

Rhyl and Prestatyn have better beaches. By a long way. But by hold events(and not letting hotels be turned into DSS residences) the town is still the best North Wales resort.

THE SUPER MONKEY CAR HAS BEEN FOUND!

Apparently they found it and recovered it on Sunday, on a dodgy estate about two or three miles away, but it's taken until today for the info to get through the system to me because of the Bank Holiday

Just spoken to the chap at the garage, and he's going to see about getting it back

I'm sure the car would give them all a lift to save them marching, it it could

Chicken and barley soup for lunch with both brown (multiseed) and white toast, for my culinary tastes are eclectic

Incidentally, the chap from the garage told me he'd been out driving round the same areas looking for it, which was good of him
