It's still slow now but I find it much easier to appreciate.

Mostly because I'm the same age or older than the principle actors now.

    Which is a frightening thought.

Poor old Henry Fonda had a mere 13 or so years left.

11 or 12 before the heights of "On Golden Pond".

The commentary track, of which I've listened to about 40 minutes or so, is also quite interesting.

Tonight's classic movie was The Lost Weekend (1945), which I don't believe I've ever seen before, or if I have it was so long ago I'd completely forgotten it. Very good I thought

        Morning all
Excellent weekend, involving seeing The Wandering Hearts and Jack Savoretti play at the National Arboretum, now still recovering.
        Overcast here, but not raining.

IIRC that Zeity chap did a review of that.

He seemed quite impressed with it.

Ray Milland came from around here, boyo.

            There's tidy then.

              Good morning folks.

Lovely sunny warm day today. I bravely opted for cardigan and not a jacket (but did pop a brolly in my bag, just in case).

This did mean I left my Oyster card in my jacket pocket. Something I realised half way down Earls Court Road. Thank goodness one can pay with any old contactless card these days.

                Gosh.

A phone call that wasn't from some scumbag attempting to rob me.

                Whatever next?

Nah, an automated message from the gas board wanting a meter reading.
