    Ribs and chips for tea

No rain here yet, and it's looking as if it might miss us altogether

In other news, looks like the brave little soldier next door is on his own for a while since his Mrs and her son have buggered off to the Greek islands for a holiday and left him behind.

As one might imagine, I'm not exactly what you might term sympathetic.

It'll be interesting to se how quickly the glass recycling box fills up with no one there to slow his imbibing down.

        I’m in Weegieland.

I can’t help thinking, if I survive all of this, I'll go to that house, apologize to the mother there, and accept whatever punishment she chooses for me. Prison... death... didn't matter. Because at least in prison and at least in death, you know, I wouldn't be in Weegieland . But then, like a flash, it came to me. And I realized, man, maybe that's what hell is: the entire rest of eternity spent in Weegieland, cause at least Bruges is a ‘kin fairytale..

I gather the weather's a lot better there than on your own patch at the moment, though

I left “home” this morning - clear blue skies, sunshine, etc.
The bumpy descent into GLA was a portent of the saft to pashing precipitation that has followed.

I do love all these "free" money adverts with their quite reasonable 1500% annual interest rates.

It seems to be very expensive being poor.

                Oh, this one's a bargain: a mere 1300.5%.

                I'm in the wrong business.

A bit like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, really.

Following some more Russian prison life whilst I ate, tonight's entertainment has been the remaining episodes of S2 of Spiral/Engrenages. It's quite good really, that show, as police things go

                  Goodnight all

Very very wet cycle this morning. I was cycling through 6 inches of water at one point.
