    In with the hoi polloi.

And off we go into the wide blue yonder.

Popped into the kitchen to get a bap out to defrost for lunch. Ended up slicing and freezing most of the remains of the roast beef from the other night (the rest will go in the bap), tidying bits of kitchen, bagging up various bits of recycling, and sorting out assorted Amazon boxes that also need to go in the recycling.

And, after all that, I actually remembered to get the bap out of the freezer

                  Lunch

                  Potato and veg soup. 7/10

Nothing else of note to report.

More apples donated to the compost heap.

And this is just the start.

The accursed brambles are doing their best to take over the world again.

Lunch was Heinz baked beans on Morrisons thick cut pumpkin seed brown toast (crust).

                    It was nice enough.

Followed by 1.05 pints of Good Glengettie Tea.

                    Yum.

While collecting the apples I noted that the fecking day lilies I dug up about 15 years ago seem to be coming back.

Time to dig the feckers up again then.
