    Morning denizens

    Sunny out; temperature climbing

And it's already over 27°C in the living room, so the curtains are staying firmly shut in hopes of keeping things under control

All gone now and stiflingly hot again
Yes, almost bang on 2am the storm arrived here, though it had blasted through on its way north in about half-an-hour

Made a refreshing change, though we really need a succession of them blocking out the sun

Busy day today, new broom and all. The 14th replacement head we've had IIRC. The Mrs is exactly like Trigger in that regard.

^^^ Had to look that one up, never having watched an episode of that. Doomed etc.

        In with the hoi polloi.

        Still grey.

        Still sunless.

        Still to fecking hot.

Someone pongy has just entered the room so I'm off shortly.

Just had an email from some pimp or other working on a 15 year old CV regarding my interest in embedded contracts.

Feck me they must be getting desperate.

        Nothing local of course.

29C outside in the shade. Cooler in the house, but it's getting to that time of day when I need to close the west-facing windows & curtains and open the easterly ones.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Black pudding <or should that be 'pudding of colour'> rolls, with HP sauce for lunch.

                  28.5C in the office now.
