    No.

    Half farthings will do.

In other other news, the rain has returned from a slate grey sky.

But I cut the hedges before it got really enthusiastic.

Was going down the dump, but oddly I just can't be arsed.

Fair enough, give us the price in quarter farthings.

Even I can't remember farthings as legal tender.

They didn't buy anything in 1956 so they were done away with.

I received one in change some years ago, since it's about the same size as a new penny, the give away was George VI on the obverse.

How very odd, turns out there was a 3/4d coin and a 3/2d coin.

        Who'd have thunk it.

Went to a brilliant restaurant in Cardiff during my visit there last Friday/Saturday. Shaam Nights. They only take cash!

And even ice cream sellers on the Sarf Coast take cards.....

Tea was more of yesterday's roast beef.

              It was, at most, ok.

Ran out of custard powder so made some ground rice.

It's donkey's years since I did that & I got the measurements ever so slightly wrong.

It stood up on its own.

Had to add a shedload of stewed blackberries just to make it edible.

Which it was, more or less.

The evening's first televisual epic was "One for the Money (2012)" with Katherine Heigl.

It seemed familiar, I must have watched it before.

                    And indeeed I have.

That's another dvd off to the charity emporium shortly.

Now watching "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)" with Val Kilmer, Robert Downey Jnr and Michelle Monaghan.

It was quite funny in an occasional larf out loud way.

Also watched Paxman on 5 discussing why all our politicos are so absoluckingfutely crap.
