      Morning denizens

Grey out; not raining at the moment, though it looks like it must have earlier

I forgot to set any alarms last night and pretty much slept right through to 10:30, which must be my body's way of telling me that if I expect to get up before that, I should go to bed earlier

Speaking of lunch, a spider on the outside of my kitchen window caught a fly in its web. I spotted it as it was bundling the wretched creature up in silk, then transporting it back up to the top left corner, which seems to be where it lurks

Thusly I did venture forth equipped with a spade garden fork to do battle with the raspberry and blackberry roots in the bit I'm currently turning into Yet More Lawn.

Two and a half hours of that without the distraction of the Lidl(tm) combined ear defenders and FM wireless tuned to R4 (other stations are available apparently though I find this difficult to understand) has resulted in a cleared patch of ground and the pile of weeds is again approaching 4 feet in height whilst being about 6 feet in diameter.

now and very with a touch of sunburn due to all those rays.

Oh, and the lack of the ear defenders means I can hear every fecking bark from that irritating dog down the road, which irritation has been augmented by the chap with the petrol chainsaw busily sawing up stuff.

<taps screen: is this thing fecked again?>

Tea this evening was that beef with carrots & onions thing, with slices of beef extracted out of the freezer as an experiement, which was successful.

                  Nice enough.

The remaining pear appears unripe but it may just be toying with me on the way to going rotten.

Followed by 1.05 pints of Good Glengettie Tea.

At the same time I made a pan of chili con carne for tea tomorrow, and the rest will go in the freezer.

TV, so far, has been S2E2, E3, and E4 of BTVS, now followed by an ep of Joan of Arcadia.

                    Busy here again

Tonight's tea, as foreshadowed in last night's storyline, was spag bol; and exceedingly nice it was

One down, three in the freezer. I don't think they'll be there for long though
