Turns out this new role with "no travel" has me flying to Geneva later, for most of the week. Then I'll be off to Italy on Saturday.

2nd week at Philips Semiconductors in Southampton after the travel to work from hell which included taking 2.5 hours to get from the middle of the 2nd Severne Bridge to the M32 turnoff due to idiotic coning: "Can you go to Holland tomorrow?".

Er, no.

a) You gave me no warning so I didn't bring a passport
b) I don't have a passport so I can't go anyway.

It wasn't my finest 3 months and I produced very little & buggered off without renewing.

As is only right & proper, the site closed within a couple of years.

That, I must admit, was pretty impressive.
