    No, not that one, Brillo!

It was “what do you want for your birthday?”

This year is a big birthday for me. I want something that I will treasure and use/enjoy/appreciate for years to come.

When I turned 30 I bought a Taylor guitar. When I turned 40 I bought an engagement ring.
    Now what?

I’d like a Rolex hulk, or Omega Dive 300, but since I’ve started wearing a Garmin Vivioactive 3, I can’t see me wearing a proper watch much.

    Help! I need ideas!
    how about this?

Using [ s ] and [/s ] does it (without spaces in the brackets)

But in certain devices it doesn’t show properly

          Ocado have been and gone.

Shopping put away. There wasn't much but it's the heavier stuff I CBA to carry back from the shops.

            In with the hoi polloi

Bit damp and almost drizzly on the way down.

My back is complaining about the can collections.

Need to get up and go the local DIY shop to get a new saw.

Otherwise the Xmas tree us going to sit on the back lawn for another week when really it needs to be chopped up and put in the green recycle bin.

But first I will have a steam and a shower in my new steam/shower cubicle with built in radio and Bluetooth if I want to connect it to my phone.

Does your local council not do a tree collection?

It's a bit late now, they tend to be within the first week or so of January.
