A simple lunch of buttered (wholemeal multiseed) toast

A crumb went the wrong way and got lodged in my throat, leading to a coughing fit that should have the neighbours fleeing in terror at my approach

They probably didn’t actually hear it though. It’s good to have strong sound insulation between the flats when everybody’s stuck at home all day

Did my 10 walks up & down the stairs to get the blood running a bit faster.

Decided to tidy up () the multiplicity of leads, wires, and the like in the front bedroom.

I have many many scart leads.

I have more scart switch boxes than a sensible person could possibly want.

All of which are practically useless*.

However I found a little box with a stereo pot in it that has improved the "hifi" no end.

Oddly it's made it louder since it's 100k instead of the 10k input of the amp, some sort of loading effect on the line output of the cd player.

I also have an endless supply of phono to phono leads, in 1, 2, & 3 lead options.

And quite a few coax aerial leads.

And a couple of VGA leads I'd forgotten about.

Now listening to DSOTM yet again (the one on "Pulse").

Ah, we've got to "Comfortably Numb".

*Though not as useless as the centronics printer switch boxes and the RS232 switch boxes.
      When the fun stops, STOP.

When I had the flat battery saga, the jump starter I ended up buying comes with a compressor too. Seeing as I don't drive all that often I thought it a good idea to have means to check the tyre pressures. It has been used in blowing up an air bed very successfully.
