What does shaming people who don't social distance actually achieve? | Life and style | The Guardian

Take the case of a friend’s mother, who was recently reported to the police for making too many trips outside. She, in fact, was dropping off supplies to people who were sick and in isolation. Now she might feel less inclined to do so – but who cares, so long as whoever dobbed her in gets to post on social media about it?

So dobbing you in gets an extra post on CUK! Well worthwhile!

10 degrees and clear blue skies (the patch I could see).

First coffee made, M&S almond and pistachio cookie to accompany it.

The living room and kitchen windows had been closed after it turned chilly (bedroom stayed open). Reopened both but decided to close the kitchen again as it is a bit nippy out!

                  CBS and comfortably cool atm.

Dog walked. Coffee made. Bacon cob being consumed.

Not bad so far, for a Thursday.
