      Morning all.

I was up before 9am, which is early for me on a Saturday when I have nowhere to be.

My bread dough had risen beautifully overnight so a quick knock back and shaping and it's now in its banneton for a second proving. I'll bake it this evening.

I'm going to pop out and see if my car still starts. If it does, I'll take it for a quick squiz up the A4 and hope no fecker nicks my space while I'm gone. Shall I go East towards the centre of town, or West? Vote now!

        Forgot the weather report.

Clear blue sky, light breeze, currently 18 degrees, 23 forecast.

HWMBO said it was hotter in Glasgow than London yesterday, with it staying around 20 overnight.

Clare got replaced with all of "Pulse" apart from the bits I don't like such as "Run like hell" and the bit of "Money" that drags on irritatingly.

Then it was on to "Doremi fahsol latidoh" one of Hawkwind's finest, followed by "Assault & Battery" & "The Golden Void" off "Warrior on the edge of Time", then "Master of the Universe (sans car)" off "In search of space".

After all of which I almost feel human.

          It's still sunny.

I've dozed for hours going gently deaf.

          And it's still fecking Saturday.

How odd that I listen to Hawkwind from the early 70s and hardly ever to anything later than that.

          Acid Rock at its finest.

I can't get over the size of the heatsinks on that amplifier.

I must have been in an overspecifying mood when I ordered those.

And the twin power supplies inside it.

With all that iron & aluminium, it's no wonder it's heavy, man.

I have Radio 6 Music on at the moment.

I like Radcliffe and Maconie and was upset when their daily lunch time slot was relegated to a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. Maybe it was their choice, and they wanted less work.

Bit of Northern Soul, interspersed with Folk. Their studio is probably like a Dutch Oven [emoji263]

Nice sunny day out, currently up to 21°C outside (23° within) so not too enervating

Eeeh off for walk with loony lady soon. Bit hot for my liking.

These darn internet activity trackers, just brought some concrete crack filler and looked for a few things on Sainburies, then got ads for concrete repair products and Sainburies in ads on the Independent. Can't be coincidence.

PS Great idea, maybe if I search for some porn before looking at the online news, I'll get lots of free porny ads!
PPS Mind you, I'll look at the Daily Express first, I prefer righty porn to lefty porn.
