    Afternoon denizens

Sunny and Simpsonesque out, and just hit 20°C

Shoulder of lamb roasted well, very nice.

No rice pud due to lack of pudding rice.

      Red corner yog thing instead.

Once the dishes are done, it's time for the weekly Sunday afternoon shopping trip to Tesco and Morrisons.

And when that's done & dusted, it'll be time to mow the lawns again.

Laundry 3 is now out and hung up.

        Phew! Glad that's done.

Exercise bicycling done, green ring closed

There's a bit of a breeze blowing through the window. Quite refreshing

Family Zoom call in a while. There's no Monkey Life on this week, so that will have to do

Though I've just remembered there's one I missed during last week's call sitting on the huge, almost empty, HDD connected to the telly, so I'll watch that now

Zoom call done. It was suggested we might change to juts doing them once a month, incorporating the New Zealanders, but just after the suggestion was mooted my niece turned up late, and we never got back to discussing it

So glad my family never went for that malarkey.

The temperature has reached 24 degrees and it's lovely out.

Decided to repot my mint into a slightly bigger pot.

Then, as it's nice out, I made myself a cocktail and put on an album by Fiona Apple as I've not listened to her music in a while.

Ooh will need to try to remember to watch this on Thursday evening. Channel 5 isn't my natural habitat.

My lot do apparently, I just studiously ignore such things.

After all, I can barely bring myself to talk to a couple of them across the garden wall.

                      Lawns mown.

Tea: cheese topped stick (Morrisons, reduced), ham (Tesco, tinned) and mustard (English, colemans) sandwich on the last of the Morrisons wholemeal sunflower and spelt bread, and 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
