The forecast rain has turned up.

Not too heavy but still wet. The plants will be happy.

I just snacked on crap as I couldn't be bothered to cook anything proper.

I have lots of tins of sardines and pilchards. I really should eat them up.

For no reason that I can fathom, HMRC have sent me an Employer Payment Booklet and 12 envelopes. I haven't used one of them since my earliest days of trading and pay by bank transfer each month. They haven't sent one of those for about 10 years so why the heck have they started now? Good see my tax money being put to use...

Dinner was sardines! I had a tin of 'picante' ones in oil (and picante they are too!) which I chopped up with some garlic and roasted peppers then chucked in with pasta for a very tasty tea.

                      Wow, I've set a trend!

The promised rain here that's supposed to continue overnight is just the occasional brief shower so far. But the weather app is now thinking it might turn to snow in the early hours, then turn back to rain again.
