I think that, while I appreciate she's only human and had (I think) a fairly average upbringing - she's been afforded opportunities that 99%+ of people can only dream of. I doubt she's worrying about how to fund this weeks shop.
So, on that basis her, I find the constant bleating and being...

Littering winds me up so much because there is just NO excuse. I've never once, in years of travelling, camping, hiking, running, cycling etc had cause to litter. It's just the height of selfishness - I'd happily support a £1000+ fine for it.

I'll be very interested to see what my client, a large IB, will do. I'm currently on an outside contract, Ltd Co and have filled in a questionnaire via QDOS who are presumably supply some kind of service/insurance to them.
We wait and see!

Haha, oh yes! Last time out before lockdown [whatever number it is now], a little rusty in hindsight I hit some mud on a road at, uh around 70mph office. I think the pandemic is a really bad time to assess it though - right now, I'm literally stuck in my home office, I can't spend a day in a cafe or have a few days...

Spent most of last year consulting to a Candian based firm.
Uhm, honestly, was all much of a muchness. They operated in USD (Because they themselves were consulting to a US firm), so to keep things simple I set up a TransferWise Dollar Account, and invoiced in Dollars. Was just easier...

Can anybody recommend a decent umbrella calculator?
Hey guys, I've got some offers on the table and some soul searching to do. I've never worked through a brolly, and actually what I'm trying to do is compare a 'Worst case' inside IR35 contract at my average rate vs a permie role.
I'm finding the calculators I'm finding online a smidge...

Haven't finished all the episodes yet, but wow! Absolutely fantastic, but hard to watch.

Surely if the footings are undersized and it's not historical work, there's a very real possibility building control could demand you knock it down or rectify? And there's also the very real potential of structural problems in future.
Given how recent it is - I'd tell em to either get it...Last edited by vwdan; 11 February 2021, 17:42.
