Given that we need nurses I don't think we'd be giving anything away for free. The fact that people want to be a nurse is a good thing, but the the potential nurses not being able to afford to train is so wrong.

1% pay rise for NHS
An interesting one .... my cynical view is the Tories have set it low to give them somewhere to go when the unions kick off. Whatever the % the unions were going to say it's not enough ... another example of nudge theory that is often used by the Tories?

I'd like to see that £37bn broken down to see where and how it has been spent. There will be valid spend in there like the test kits, scientists etc and there will almost certainly be a whole load spaffed up the wall by Tory MP's mates and their dodgy middle men companies.

They're just playing up to their voters. Create an enemy out of the EU (even though the EU is in the right) and the loyal xenophobes will swallow all they read from the Tory supporting press.
