I've been contacted recently by a client who has in turn been contacted by an individual who appears on Linkedin but the company she represents appears to have no website, no address, no record at Company's House under the given name, no profile on Endole or similar.
The client is being promised a 20% uplift in take home "without using a loan".
I'm sceptical about whether that can be achieved in a manner that is compliant with the tax legislation.
I cannot reveal the name here, but if anybody wants to PM me, we can have a "conversation" out of the public view.
