    Going to Europe in Sept 16, current GB passport clearly says "European Union" at top, will this passport need to be replaced before travelling if there is a BREXIT ?

    The cable does not appear to be detachable at the monitor end, so I'll check the connection at the PC as susggested. Fingers crossed.

    Monitor problem

    At seemingly random intervals, the monitor I am using at this very moment displays a blank screen.
    The green power light remains on, however, and switching the monitor off then on lets me continue....

    CPU fan always at full speed

    Since the faulty motherboard was replaced on my PC by a Gigabyte G41M combo, the cpu fan runs all the time at full speed.
