I was asked for 2 references before being put forward for a role so have ignored all contact since then.
I got a gig out of accepting a request from an agent I did not previsouly know so I accept all agent requests if they recruit in my area.
I don't post anything, just ensure CV matches profile.

Have only had 1 and it was a fishing for names meeting by 2 agency staff. I can understand why they do it but I would only go again if I was on the bench.
